Amunet writes speculative fiction: her first three books became Amazon best sellers: only being surpassed into first place by the honourable Dalai  Lama. Amunet’s writing style has been compared to Paulo Coelho, Octave E. Butler and Angela Carter. Her favourite author is Toni Morison and like her mentor, she also aspires to write using invisible ink.

She reminds us that one way to nurture the soul, is to create sacred headspace on a regular basis. She also reminds us that reading is the ultimate mindfulness experience.

Amunet takes the view that our fast paced existence, should also be balanced with making time to feed the depths of our humanity. She reminds us that one way to nurture the soul, is to create sacred headspace and some special ‘me-time’ on a regular basis.

Amunet’s Fables are aimed at teens, young people and adults, the books remind us that reading is the ultimate mindfulness experience, because we create time to activate our inner thoughts in a creative way. The Fables can help the reader to achieve solace as they have a universal appeal. The style and format of each book has also been taken into consideration, by addressing the waning attention span amongst both children and adults: for example, most of the books can be read within an hour, depending on if the individual is an accomplished or reluctant reader.

Amunet’s Fables invites the reader into a world of magical realism and can help to release pent up emotions, by bringing the reader into a brief, but profound state of mindfulness.
